- New section 10: who can use our services, orders and gift cards, AC Points, Share & Earn, AI Try-On, name cards and content rules, the Customisation Studio and ACS, notifications, deleting your account, and the app stores.
Website and App Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, available at https://amplecouture.com/, or using the Ample Couture mobile app (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use and comply with all applicable local laws and regulations. The Services are run by Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1172414-T). If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Services. All content and materials on the Services are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
2. Limited License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd.'s Services for personal, non-commercial, transitory viewing only. This license does not constitute a transfer of title and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials;
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display;
- Attempt to reverse engineer any software on the Services;
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notations from the materials;
- Transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on any other server.
This does not stop you from sharing product links, your name card or your Share & Earn posts in the ways the app allows.
Violation of any of these restrictions will result in the immediate termination of this license. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession, whether in printed or digital format.
3. Disclaimer
All materials on Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd.'s Services are provided "as is." Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The company does not warrant or make any representations regarding the accuracy or reliability of the materials on its Services or linked sites. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.
4. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on its Services, even if the company or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
5. Revisions and Errata
The materials appearing on Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd.'s Services may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. does not warrant that any of the materials are accurate, complete, or current. The company may make changes to the materials on the Services at any time without notice but does not commit to updating them.
6. External Links
Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. has not reviewed all of the websites linked to its own and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.
7. Modifications to Terms of Use
Ample Couture Sdn. Bhd. may revise these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the Services, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these terms.
8. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to read carefully.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
10. Our App and Member Programmes
10.1 Who can use the Services. You must be 13 or older to use the Services. If you are under 18, you need the agreement of a parent or guardian. By signing up, you confirm this.
10.2 Your account. Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. Your app account is linked to your account on our website, so you see the same orders, points and membership. Your app password is separate from your website password. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
10.3 Orders and gift cards. Our products are physical goods. For store orders, you pay on our checkout page, at the price shown there. An order is accepted when we confirm it, and all orders depend on stock. If a price or description is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. Gift cards can be used only to buy the specific products we mark as eligible for gift cards; they cannot be used on other products and cannot be exchanged for cash.
10.4 AC Points, membership and rewards. You earn AC Points and member benefits under the rules shown in the app and on our website. AC Points cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash. We may cancel points or rewards given by mistake, for orders that are cancelled or returned, or through fraud or a breach of these Terms. We may change or end the programme, and we will post any change in the app or on our website.
10.5 Share & Earn and commission. You may share our products with your personal share code. Your posts must be genuine and follow the rules of the platform you post on. Only some products earn commission, as we tell you. New commission is on hold until we release it. Orders that are cancelled, returned or refunded earn no commission, and we may hold or take back commission in the case of fraud or a breach of these Terms.
10.6 AI Try-On. AI Try-On pictures are a guide only. Colour, fit and size may look different in real life, so please check the product details before you buy. Use only a photo of yourself. Do not use a photo of another person or of a child. A number of free tries is given each week; after that, each try uses the AC Points shown in the app. If a try-on picture is not a perfect match, that alone is not a reason for a refund. If a picture cannot be made, your free try or points are returned.
10.7 Name cards and content rules. You are responsible for what you put on your name card. It must not be sexual, violent, hateful, threatening, offensive, misleading or illegal, and must not use someone else's photo, name or private details. You must accept our content rules before sharing it. We do not tolerate offensive content or abusive members. Cards are checked automatically before they can be shared. Anyone can report a name card or block a member from inside the app, and you can also write to hello@amplecouture.com. We review reports during working hours, normally within 24 hours, and act on content that breaks these rules. We may remove a card, turn off its share code and hold or take back rewards earned with it, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
10.8 Customisation Studio and ACS. The Customisation Studio (made-to-order garments) and ACS are governed by the Customisation Agreement and the ACS Agreement you sign with us. Prices, credit, deposits, changes, cancellations and refunds for those programmes follow those agreements, which apply in addition to these Terms. This does not affect your rights if a garment is faulty or not as agreed.
10.9 Notifications. We send app notifications only if you allow them. You can turn them off in the app under Account Settings; the setting applies to the phone you set it on, and signing out also stops them on that phone. To stop promotional emails and text messages, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or unsubscribe at https://amplecouture.com/user/center. To stop WhatsApp or Messenger promotions, tell us in the chat.
10.10 Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app, or by email or WhatsApp, as explained in our Privacy Policy under "How Long We Keep Your Information". When your account is deleted, any AC Points, rewards, partner vouchers and membership in it are lost. Store credit, gift cards and commission owed to you are not lost: we sort them out with you before we delete your store account.
10.11 The app stores. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and Ample Couture, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide support for it.
